UZHUNNU VADA/ MEDU VADA  Uzhunnu Vada is a favorite delicious snack loved by all the Indians. The crispiness and the soft inside is how this snack should be. The best combination for this snack is coconut chutney.

UNNAKKAYA (SWEET COCONUT FILLED MASHED PLANTAIN FRY) Unnakkaya is a traditional Kerala sweet dish, mostly known in Malabar.

BANANA CHIPS (ETHAYKA UPPERI) Banana chips is the most popular snacks in Kerala. In Kerala it is widely known as Upperi. This delicious snack is vary easy to make and at the same time very tasty. Compared to potatoes and tapioca chips, banana chips contain less carbs.
STEAMED RICE DUMPLINGS (KOZHUKKATTA) This particular dish holds a special place in my heart because right after my school I would always tell my mom to make this sweet dish for me. The only demand I had was that there must be more jaggery fillings.

SHARKARA VARATTI (JAGGERY COATED BANANA CHIPS) Sharkara varatti (jaggery coated thick banana chips) is a snack specially made during Kerala festivals like onam, vishu etc.
