Since we all believe that watermelon contains only water and sugar, we do not give it any nutritive value and respect like other fruits. But this fruit actually contains high vitamins (Vitamin A, Vitamin C etc.), minerals and anti-oxidants and low in calories.
I usually don't mix watermelon with other fruits, but there is always an exception when it come's to strawberries. Watermelon mixes well even with grapes and all the other types of berries.
During summer this is my favorite drink. This new mix will definitely give everyone an extra boost of energy and hydration.
Lets go ahead and start the Watermelon Strawberry Smoothie
RECIPE STEP BY STEP
1.Combine all the ingredients in a blender. (Adding sugar is optional)
2.Blend it on a High for about 40-50 seconds or until it is smooth.
POUR THE SMOOTHIE INTO GLASSES AND SERVE COLD
