POUND CAKE



Hi there
Welcome to AmmasKitchenDaily. The topic at hand today is Pound Cake.

Pound cake is a simple and very easy to make recipe. It is always better to make it at home rather than buying from the store. This snack is the best to have around tea time and will be loved by both the adults and kids.
Don't forget to make this at home, as this is a fun recipe to bake with your family especially kids.
This is just the beginning for cakes, I will be baking more different cakes in the coming days.Hopefully you all will like it. 
Let's go ahead and start baking the pound cake.

METHOD OF PREPARATION IN STEPS



1.Preheat the oven to 350 degree Fahrenheit.Grease the baking pan with butter or cooking spray. Sieve all purpose flour and baking powder and keep it aside.

 2. In a bowl, beat butter and sugar with an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy.
3. Add in eggs one at a time and beat well on medium speed. Add in vanilla essence and give it a quick stir.
4. Then incorporate flour gradually in three portions with mixer on low speed until the batter is smooth and creamy.
5. Pour the batter into the greased pan and bake the cake at 350 degree Fahrenheit for about 45 minutes until it turns golden brown color or if a tooth pick inserted at the center of the cake comes out clean.
 6. Let it cool for some time. Run a knife along the sides of the pan and take off the cake gently.

CUT INTO SLICES AND ENJOY!!!
