PINEAPPLE - STRAWBERRY SMOOTHIE



Incorporating more fruits and vegetables into your diet makes you extra healthy. A better way is to have them as smoothies. Having smoothies with your breakfast makes you fresh and will get your day started off on the right foot. 
I went for grocery shopping last week and I brought vegetables and along with that I also got a Pineapple and some strawberries. My husband always keeps telling me to eat fruits everyday, it is a non-breakable rule for everyone in our home because we strive to be healthy, but I don't like eating pineapple by itself. So, I thought of a way to get the pineapple blended in with the strawberries and guess what? It came out great!

Pineapple is a fruit that can be found in any of the grocery stores and compared to other fruits it costs low. It has been used for centuries to treat digestion problems and inflammation. Plant foods like pineapple, mangoes, papaya, apricot, pumpkin, cantaloupe etc decreases the risk of obesity, diabetes, heart diseases and helps to have a healthy complexion and hair.
Let's get start on how to make pineapple - strawberry smoothie.


RECIPE IN STEP BY STEP

1.Pour sliced pineapple and strawberries into the blender/ mixer and add sugar as needed. Pour ice in the last.

2.Blend it on high for about 40 seconds or until the smoothie thickens.

POUR INTO THE GLASSES AND SERVE.
